Last updated 26 August 2026
WireSwitch (wireswitch.io) is a payment protocol translator. This page covers the developer portal and hosted hop. Operator: Varun M (varun.maddula@gmail.com).
What we collect
- Account: email, and a password hash if you sign up with email. We never store the password in plaintext.
- Google Sign-In: your Google account id (sub) and verified email. We request only openid, email, and profile. We do not read Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or contacts.
- Test keys you issue (pt_test_), hashed at rest, plus hop receipts for translates you send. Live keys are not a public product.
- Cookies: ws_developer (signed session) and a short-lived ws_google_state during Google Sign-In.
How we use it
To create and recognize your developer tenant, issue and revoke keys, run the hop, and keep you signed in. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it except as needed to run the service (hosting on Fly.io) or if the law requires it.
Storage
Postgres on Fly.io in Ashburn, Virginia (iad). Session cookies are HttpOnly. You can revoke keys in the portal. To delete an account, email the address above.
Google user data
Limited Use: we use Google identity only to sign you in and link an account. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to operate WireSwitch, with your consent, or as required by law.
